Personality & Opportunities

We Can Be and Do Things That Were Not Even Dreamed of Before Within the Same Lifetime

Some people don’t feel good about personality change, especially if they tend to keep for it firmly, but some say it helps them to jump from level to level towards the true self meaning. Some treat it as a curse, and some believe it is a blessing.

Who do you want to become next?

If you ever struggle with days when everything collapses, changes, terminates, slows down, or disappears, you are not alone.

The experience is known by many names, including “dark nights of the soul,” which is the death of the current personality.

While some individuals may never encounter a dark night of the soul, for others, it could extend over weeks, months, or even years.

You may face such a night occasionally or multiple times as time unfolds.

· Nothing makes sense

· There is no purpose for anything

· It seems you don’t understand anything anymore

· Relationships and connections collapsed so you are forced to search within

· Emotional turmoil tends to depression, anxiety, sadness

I believe in multiple lives within one. Do you?

I think we change our lives every time we drastically change our personalities.

Each time we change our very skin of who we believe we are, we begin a new life.

In The Gift of Sensitivity, you may find a metaphor of the bifurcation point for it:

“I was over my dreams, hopes, failures, shame, guilt, and especially “way outs” pointed out by teachers, preachers, and “best friends” around me.

In ecology, if we influence the ecosystem for a long enough time, it will absorb as many interventions as possible, but this will change its status by finding another point of status quo equilibrium.

One day, we will see a renewed, newborn system that has a completely new quality, which can be and do other things that were not even dreamed of before.

Therefore, some people believe that evolution is a process of cumulative change, where once a particular characteristic is considered beneficial to life, anyone who develops it will survive better.

I believe in incremental change, but when its cumulative volume changes the entire system. It is called a breakthrough. This article in Forbes explains that a breakthrough is an exponential jump in what’s possible.

My life system reached this bifurcation point, after which my system could never be the same again.

Therefore, my understanding of evolution is a chain of such bifurcation points, which could be natural, cumulative, or forced and spontaneous.

That was my first change of personality.”

Research supports the idea that intentionally developing certain traits is not only possible but comes with benefits and calls to improve your life and consider changing your personality.

A recent study in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology has provided preliminary evidence that you can improve your life, or at least your satisfaction with it by purposefully changing your personality in the ways you want.

How do we know we are reborn? The change is confirmed by new people around us, relocations or long-distance travels, new relations or even marriages, new unknown qualities of ourselves, new tastes, new jobs, new appearances, and so on.

Ask anyone how they know that a new life has begun.

Everything mentioned will be in the aforementioned description, but most importantly, there will be a feeling of a change in the inner world state.

We know that we become entirely different, and such is our life.

Would you not call it rebirth to a new life?

Humans are exceptional.

Our resilience doesn’t only bounce us back to the same equilibrium state.

We can be reborn with an entirely new quality and be and do things we never dreamed of before within the same lifetime.

It is the same as any ecological system, as we are part of nature.

Some people don’t feel good about personality change, especially if they tend to keep for it firmly, but some say it helps them to jump from level to level towards the true self meaning. Some treat it as a curse, and some believe it is a blessing.

Those who went through it changed completely.

What are your thoughts on personality change?

Should we cope with change or embrace opportunities?
